ISID staff and partners evaluate the EpiCore Outbreak Verification System in the May 2018 issue of the Bulletin of the World Health Organization.
Spoiler: EpiCore was able to demonstrate the value of crowdsourcing for enhancing disease surveillance activities by showing the feasibility of recruiting and training highly qualified volunteer professionals around the world for outbreak validation and verification.
