Any reports or comment on outbreaks you submit (including your full name, affiliation and country of residency) may also be posted publicly on the Web Site.
ISID may also collect information about you that is not personally-identifiable. This type of information includes your field of practice, city, state, country, zip code, interests and preferences. ISID will not collect any such information about you unless you provide it to us voluntarily. ISID may share this information in the aggregate with business partners, sponsors and other third parties. For example, ISID may inform a sponsor that x percent of the user base of the Web Site is from the eastern United States. This data is used to customize the Web Site’s content and to deliver a better experience for our members and users.
To keep you in control of your personally-identifiable information and the communications directed to you we allow you to opt-out of receiving ProMED communications by following the instructions included in the communication or by visiting the Subscribe and Unsubscribe page.
