ISID concerns itself with education in infectious diseases, diagnosis
of infections and clinical microbiology required for diagnosis,
and different aspects of therapeutics concerning viral, bacterial,
and parasitic infections. Sponsorship of symposia, research awards,
educational grants, meet-the-expert sessions, and advertising in
the conference materials and congress bags related to these subjects
at the biennial ICID is invited.
