ISID concerns itself with education
in infectious diseases, diagnosis of infections and clinical microbiology
required for diagnosis, and different aspects of therapeutics concerning
viral, bacterial, and parasitic infections. An exhibition on topics
related to these subjects at the biennial ICID is encouraged.
The ICID is an international platform not only for the numerous participants,
but also for the large number of exhibitors who see the commercial
exhibition as the ideal forum to show their latest products and to
meet with all interested participants.
