Poster Sessions

Posters are displayed in the poster area located in the Exhibition Hall (Hall 3) on the Ground Level of the HICC. Each poster board is marked with the number assigned to each abstract, which can be found in the Final Program book which will be distributed onsite.

Authors are requested to affix their posters at the number assigned to them (as listed in the program) on the morning of their designated date of presentation between 8:15 and 9:30hrs and remove them in the afternoon after the last coffee break. At least one author per poster must be present for discussion and questions during the official poster sessions each day from 12:45 to 14:15hrs and possibly during the coffee breaks.

Abstracts of poster presentations are published on the Conference App and online in the supplement to the International Journal of Infectious Diseases (IJID). Abstracts accepted for “International Scientific Exchange” are not presented.

Guidelines for poster authors:
Poster size: width 90 cm (~36 inches), height 130 cm (~51 inches). Format: Portrait

Extend the Life of your Poster

After presenting your poster at the 17th ICID, the International Society for Infectious Diseases invites all authors to deposit - for free - their poster into the established open access poster repository, F1000Research (http://f1000research.com/). This will allow those who could not make the meeting to have the opportunity to see your novel work. By depositing your poster you will be able to extend the visibility of your work and broadcast your research to a wider audience.
