Please note: Early registrations fees are only available for those who register and make full payment before February 4, 2014. If you register and not make payment by February 4, 2014 you should make payment for the late registration fees.

For delegates, fellows, nurses and students the registration fee includes:
Admission to Satellite Symposia; Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception; access to all scientific sessions; access to the commercial exhibition; delegate kit and Congress materials;
Membership in the International Society for Infectious Diseases (ISID) is free. By registering for the 16th ICID, all delegates will become ISID members.

For accompanying persons the registration fee includes:
Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception. In order to attend these social events, accompanying persons must be properly registered. Delegates can specify the name and pay the fees for the accompanying person when they complete their online registration form.

On-Site Registration

Pre-registration will close at midnight March 26, 2014. Thereafter the registration office will not be able to accept registrations online or by phone. Any delegates wishing to register after pre-registration is closed can register on arrival at the registration desk on April 2, 2014.


On-site registrations will be accepted, but Congress materials may be limited. Delegates planning to register on-site are advised to arrive early. On-site registration will proceed on a first-come, first-served manner. Please see the time schedule for registration hours.

Payment Methods

All payments for registration fees should be made in full before the congress and within 30 days of completing your online registration. If you have any problems making the payment before the congress please contact If full payment is not received before the Congress then payment will be asked for on arrival at the registration desk by Visa, Mastercard, AMEX or cash.

  • Payment by bank transfer: Please ensure that the title of the congress and the delegate’s name are stated on the bank transfer. Any bank charges incurred are the delegate’s responsibility and should be paid in addition to the registration and accommodation fees. Once the payment has been received you will be sent an email confirmation.

    All registration fee payments will be in US $ only. Please make sure that your name and address appear clearly on all payment documents. Bank transfers received without the name of the delegate cannot be processed. ISID and Kenes International are not responsible for payments not sent as stated above.

    Certificates will be available for all delegates who attend the congress.

    Cancellation Terms and Conditions
    Registered delegates unable to attend will receive a full refund less a US $75.00 administration fee, provided that a written request is received by the registration office Kenes International at on or before February 28, 2014. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after February 28, 2014.
    Only written requests for cancellations and refunds will be accepted by the registration office. Refunds will be made after conclusion of the congress.<-->
