All registration fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgits (MYR), at the time of publication, 1 EUR = 4,89 MYR and 1 USD = 3,20 MYR (updated 11 March 2008).
* Regular Members must include their ISID membership number on the registration form

*** Please attach proof of student status otherwise the regular registration fee will be applicable.

For delegates and students, registration fee includes:
Admission to Satellite Symposia; Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception; access to all scientific sessions; access to the commercial exhibition; delegate kit and Congress materials such as the Abstract Book, List of Participants, and Final Program. A 2-year membership in the International Society for Infectious Diseases is also included for delegates only.

For accompanying persons, registration fee includes:
Opening Ceremony and Welcome Reception and a special sightseeing tour. In order to attend these social events, accompanying persons must be properly registered.

Membership in the International Society for Infectious Diseases
By registering as a delegate and paying the registration fee for the 13th ICID, participants will become Regular Members of the ISID for two years and receive the IJID (International Journal of Infectious Diseases). Therefore it is absolutely necessary to send your complete mailing address.

Confirmation of registration
An official confirmation letter will be sent to all registered participants. All registration fees are in Malaysia Ringgits (MYR). If you are faxing your registration form, please do not send the original by mail. We encourage you to use the online registration system. To register several people it is necessary to complete a registration form for each individual person. Registrations without names and complete address will not be processed.

Hotel Reservations
The 13th ICID Housing Office, AOS Conventions & Events Sdn. Bhd., is pleased to offer a selection of official hotels. Hotel reservations can be made online or with the hotel reservation form (pdf). A complete list of available hotels is available.

    Please make sure that your name and address appear clearly on all payment documents. Bank transfers received without the name of the participant cannot be processed.
  • Bank Drafts and Checks WILL NOT be accepted for payment.
ISID and AOS Conventions & Events Sdn. Bhd. are not responsible for payments not sent as stated above. Do not combine registration fees and hotel deposits on the same bank transfer. Separate payments are required.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
  • Registrations:
    Registered delegates unable to attend will receive a full refund less a MYR 300,00 administration fee, provided that a written request is received by the Secretariat on or before May 9, 2008. No refunds will be issued for cancellations received after May 9, 2008.
     
  • Hotel & Tour Reservations:
    Accommodation and tours must be fully prepaid. After the hotel confirmation has been sent all changes will be subject to availability. A full refund less MYR 300,00 administration fee will be granted if a written cancellation is received on or before April 18, 2008.

    No refunds are possible for changes or cancellations received after April 18, 2008, no–show reservations, or early departures.

    Only written cancellations and requests for refunds will be accepted. All approved refunds (registrations and/or hotel reservations) will be processed and issued within 60 days after the Congress.

On-Site Registration
On-site registrations will be accepted, but Congress materials may be limited. Participants planning to register on-site are advised to arrive early. On-site registration will proceed on a first-come, first-served manner. Please see the time schedule for registration hours.
