| About the International Development Grant for Young Women |
| 11 March 2008- ISID is pleased to announce that out of nearly 700 applications received ISID has chosen 75 awardees for the Gates International Development Grant for Young Women. All awardees have been notified. The selection process for this grant was highly competitive and we were unfortunately unable to fund many highly qualified applicants. We will not be sending individual notice to all those who did not receive awards. |

The deadline for receipt of applications is
February 1, 2008. All applicants will be notified of acceptance status by March
