Financial Assistance
The International Society for Infectious Diseases is committed to training and education. Accordingly, the Society has created a special financial assistance fund. Limited financial assistance is available to individual participants who have had an abstract accepted for the Congress and are financially responsible for the cost of attending the Congress. In order to assist as many people as possible, sponsored delegates are not eligible for financial assistance.
  • ICID Scholarships: A limited number of scholarships will be available to participants with accepted abstracts. An e-mail requesting a scholarship must be sent to ISID headquarters, (email:info@isid.org) by February 20, 2006. Scholarships may provide for a waiver or reduction in the registration fee. Travel and accomodation costs cannot be covered by the Society. In allocating scholarships, the Program Committee will give preference to individuals who are from lower-resource countries.
